Sharapova pulls out of Brisbane International with Collarbone Injury

Bad news to start this year 2013, Maria said package, it has a right clavicle injury, however nothing too severe, his New York doctor told him of this rest for a week. ‎Maria Sharapova has withdrawn from Brisbane International - Australian Open Series due to a right collarbone injury, but believes she'll be ready for the Australian Open.
She says a certain starter for the new year’s first grand slam – the Australian Open – and will overcome her right collarbone injury in the 12 days left until the first round. The injury flared 10 days ago and forced her withdrawal from a Korean exhibition match late last week.
"I had a bit of inflammation in my collarbone, and I sent (scan results) to a doctor in New York and he told me I couldn't really do much overhead training for about a week," she said. "So to be fair, I haven't really given myself a chance to pretty much hit any serves or anything over my head, So I just kind of ran out of time here."
