Maria Sharapova is through to the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells. Maria was up 6-4 in the first set, during late in the set Ivanovic was suffering an injury and took a medical time out. When she returned back to the stadium, she lost the first set and won the first game of the second set, after that she could no longer continue and was forced to retire.
