Maria has won the ESPY 'Best Female Tennis Player' award for the fourth time in the 20th edition of the ESPY Awards. Maria has previously won this award in 2005, 2006 and 2008. Maria Sharapova won "Best Female Tennis Player" at ESPY Awards but lost on Best Female Athlete and Best Comeback Athlete. Stars from the world of sports got together for the 2012 ESPY Awards. On July 11, tennis player Maria Sharapova and skier Lindsey Vonn were some of the evening's many guests at the Nokia Theatre event. Both are also up for Best Female Athlete. Maria Sharapova channeled a warrior princess on the red carpet. If only Maria fully owned her daring gown and really worked that red carpet. A silver cuff, heels, and a loose updo completed her ESPY Awards outfit.
