Maria Sharapova Beats No. 1 Azarenka, Wins Porsche Tennis Grand Prix 2012

Maria has won her first title of 2012 at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in

Stuttgart, Germany. Maria defeated world No.1 Victoria Azarenka 6-1, 6-4 in

The final. Maria had a great week in Stuttgart by winning the title and

Defeating three players in the top five (Azarenka, Kvitova and Stosur). This

is Maria's 25th career title and her first ever tournament win in Germany.

Ranking WTA Monday, Maria is always number 2 world with 8280 points (it

close to 800 points of delay on Azarenka and has 1100 points in advance on

Kvitova 3rd), in the Race To Istanbul, Maria is number 2 with 3390 points.

Madrid, next week, Maria will be time to recover and prepare to Madrid blue

Just a training session of Monday 23rd April morning. Maria Sharapova will play next in the clay court tournament at Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart, Germany (APRIL 23 - 29, 2012). All top payers will be there in preparation for the upcoming Grand Slam at Roland Garros (MAY 27 - JUNE 10, 2012).  Happy Birthday to me!! Ok it might be a few days late but I absolutely love birthdays and treat them with a lot of respect. (thank you for the lovely birthday wishes everyone!) I wake up super early, usually because the door bell rings with a flower delivery. I'm certainly not one to wait for the presents either. And I love cakes, Sharapova Said. This year my Japanese trainer offered to get me a cake....super big risk but it was a super good result! And trust me when I say I wait 364 days for the next one to arrive with very little patience... Perhaps I just haven't realized that you get older with every year? Who knows!
